Some birth stories stay with us long after the birth itself. If yours has been difficult to carry, this is a safe, compassionate place to put it down, be heard, and begin to heal alongside women who understand.
Beyond the Birth Story
“If your birth story has been difficult to carry, you don’t have to carry it alone.”
Tracy Byrne & Lauren Christian
IS THIS GROUP FOR YOU?
Birth can leave behind more than a baby and a story.
You might be weeks or years past your birth. It might have gone “fine” on paper. If something about it still sits heavy, that is reason enough to come.
You replay parts of your birth, or avoid thinking about it at all.
You feel grief, fear, anger or guilt that is hard to put into words.
You still have questions about what happened and why.
People tell you to be grateful, and you feel alone with what you went through.
You’re nervous about a future pregnancy or birth because of the last one.
What you’ll find in this six week series…
A safe place to tell your birth story
Space to process your birth experience at your own pace, guided by a registered psychotherapist. You share only what you want to share.
Women who understand
Connect with other mothers who have walked a similar path. Hearing “me too” can loosen what you’ve been holding on your own.
Steps toward healing
Begin making sense of what you’ve been carrying, and leave with support for rebuilding, whatever that looks like for you.

No. If your birth left you with feelings, questions or memories that are hard to carry, this group is for you.

Any time. Women come to this work weeks, months or many years after giving birth.
Can I bring my baby?
